At The Rushmere Park Academy & Nursery we believe that a school uniform gives a sense of belonging and pride in the school whilst ensuring equality amongst pupils. In addition, a smart appearance contributes positively to the pupils’ attitude to work and learning environment; it also significantly influences how the school is portrayed to the general public.

This will apply to all pupils.

 Early Years Uniform

• Branded Polo Shirt
• Branded Sweatshirt or Cardigan
• Black school trousers, black pleated knee length skirt or black pinafore
• Plain grey tights (not patterned)
• Plain grey short or knee length socks (not patterned)
• Plain black school shoes, (no canvas or trainer-like shoes to be worn in school – no sandals or sling backs)
• Branded PE top with purple panel
• Plain Black PE shorts or jogging bottoms

Nursery children have no restriction on the bottom half of the uniform or on foot wear, we only ask that it is appropriate stage related clothing.

 Girls’ Uniform

• Grey blazer optional (Pupil Leadership team only – compulsory )
• Plain white traditional school shirt with collar to take a tie
• Academy purple tie
• Branded School (purple striped) black jumper or v-neck tank top
• Black school trousers, black pleated knee length skirt or black pinafore
• Plain grey tights (not patterned)
• Plain grey short or knee length socks (not patterned)
• Plain black school shoes, (no canvas or trainer-like shoes to be worn in school – no sandals or sling backs)
• Branded PE top with purple panel
• Plain Black PE shorts or jogging bottoms
• Plain black swim wear (Year 3 only)
• Purple check summer dress optional in the Summer Term (must be purchased directly from approved suppliers)

Boys’ Uniform
